peugeot 407 sw

were thinking of changing our car later in the year and quite like the look of these.ive looked on peugeots website and see the max noseweight is 65kg!just wandered if this was right as it seems very low and will rule it out if its correct.it also states the kerbweight as about 1580kg for the 2.0 diesel,i thought i had read somewhere it was around 1750kg?or am i daydreaming?

Dave You are not dreaming but thinking of the 2.2 hdi model which also has a ball weight of 76kg.

Appart from the lack of room in the back its a real good looking car though.

Don`t know too much about towability but i bought a 2005 model 407 and had it for 4 months only, it will cost you a fortune to on parts i spent

I have a 2006 407 sw 2.0 hdi and I think it is a great towcar, lovely to drive with lots of power and plenty of room inside.

If you mention any car you will always find at least one person that has had a bad one even prestige cars.

too true ,but all i am saying is be careful and expect to pay dearly for parts
