Hi Marsha
reading through the replies, looks like most essential caravan things are covered - however, I notice you are taking the dogs - you need to add a whole load more things! We show dogs so take the caravan to big shows during the summer where there are few, if any "proper" facilities that most caravanners are used to. For a start, we never get electric on site so need to take a generator or run off the battery if its only for a couple of days. Also, when buying an awning, make sure that you get one that the zips can undo at the top to let plenty of fresh air into the awning to keep dogs cool. I don't know how many dogs you have or how well behaved they are but an investment of a couple of crates to keep in the awning might be a good idea (we have two dogs that have learnt how to undo the zips on the awning doors and let themselves out)Also, if staying on fairly basic sites at events, we ALWAYS take water from home for the dogs and never give them site water - can't think of anything worse than dogs with dodgy tummies in a caravan!
Have fun - I love my caravan and would be away every weekend if I could.
