Well I`m an old f*rt in my early 60`s who retired after 'burning out' after just over 40 years in the same job.

This past caravaning seasons been great learning new skills and getting the hang of it all (thanks a lot to knowledge gleaned from this site).

Mrs Popups a bit older than me and to start with was very anti camping etc when we 1st married...kids cured that tho.

Now she loves it as much as I do,

Question for Ewan tho..

You say you wear a white cap and drive a car with blue lights etc on it

Now if you enjoy caravaning do you need blue lights on the van to match the cars and all the other little things or do you take the ights off the top and just use those in the bumper etc?

..Regret asking that already sowwy occifer.and I was only doing 29 mph honest

to Pop up JOhn

There are times when towing that I wish I had blue lights on top of the caravan to get the idiots off the road. Unfortunately the boss wouldnnt let me borrow his new Volvo S60 T5, had to make do with the Fiat Multipla. However, in my limited experience of caravanning, the only people who should be allowed on the road are genuine caravanners, curtious, mild mannered and laid back. (at least the ones i have come across)
