Hi all, I have a sterling trekker ( swift ) 2004, I have a small torpedo valve that I think has come out of the water inlet conection to stop water flowing backwards (fastend to the van ), the pipe work inside is a type of push fit plumbing, and conections, is there a way to take, the pipe of the conections, with out breaking them ? plan B is to cut the pipe and sleave it with rubber pipe to repair it when I refit the water conection, Thanks

On the push fit connectors is a collar at each end, push the collar towards the body of the fitting and pull the pipe out of the fitting.

Some manufacturers put smooth covers over the ends, if you have them, ease them off with a small screwdriver ( you will find a small slot in the lower edge in which the screwdriver slots to release the cover) to reveal the collar beneath.

Your Plan B will NOT work, dont do it.
