Polish for GRP

The Avondale van I bought last year is 10 years old and the front, rear and roof panels (all made from Glass Reinforced Plastic) are dull and slightly powdery. Can I polish them, and if so what is the recommended polish? If not polish what can be put on?

Woodlands camper, I have just restored the finish on a box trailer, which has GRP side panels and suffered the same as you describe.

I used UPVC restorer which is mildly abrasive, on a power polisher.

Then followed up with Autoglym Super Resin polish, applied the same way, and buffed up with the polisher.

The result is really good.

Thankyou Damian - I will give it a try.
