Newbie hoping to take our Sprite Major 4EB Caravan to France in June 2026
I have read that it is possible to overnight at the ferry waiting lanes at Poole Harbour for the 08.00 hrs departure from Poole to Cherbourg - according to Poole Harbour's recorded phone message there is a levy of £15
My question is that for the return journey Cherbourg to Poole the ferry docks at Poole at 11 pm at night - is it still possible to overnight in the lanes or is there a curfew preventing one from doing this
Has anybody experienced overnighting on both outward and inward journeys
