I live on top of a hill. Every way i go it is down a hill. The roads are like skating rings and the pavements are lethal. Its like a ghost town. How is it that the dam postman always seems to get through with a handfull of bills and a fist full of junk mail. Clever bloke this one.

We went paperless billing when we moved and bank and credit card is all done online. Rural living we have a letter box near the end of the drive and a spike for the junk mail and leaflets. Junk mail and leaflets go on the spike, our smart posties soon caught on. They don't call often but now put the junk on the spike. When we have a pile we soak it then compress it and leave it to dry in the barn and then it goes in the wood burner, a little free heat makes me
