I have lost power in some power points in our Sterling elite 2008.I did overload the points and tripped the RCD .ive had that tested and its good but still no power in some power points.
Always carried a plug in socket tester initially for travel in Europe, and still have one for domestic usage.Have you checked if the miniature circuit breaker(s) is/are set correctly, that is "up"?
Have you a single or multiple miniature circuit breakers?
Initially I would be surprised if the "power points" , if by that you mean power sockets, are on multiple circuits.
So if one is live all should be, indicating a failure in the wiring if all are not all live.
If on a single circuit breaker, with the van disconnected from mains [very important] I would be checking if there is continuity between the live of one socket and live of another, and with the returns of the sockets, and for completeness the earths of sockets. Whilst somewhat academic in finding the break itself It would highlight the type of break there is.
Plug in circuit testers, when connected to the EHU could similarly identify the type of failure at each socket, in their lives or returns and status of their earths. Tester of this generic type LINK
