Although good for most tasks, our Dyson was generally useless at picking up dog hair. You need to use it on Boost and when using the boost function it does not last long enough to do the whole car. I now using it mainly for cleaning the car of dirt and stones and use our Miele for dog hair. Luckily our Yorkies do not shed too much hair.

I think the issue is the roller brush head which can be difficult to use in a car as it is the brush head that does the cat and dog function and not the power of the vacuum. Okay on a flat surface in the car, but that is where the function ends especially when using a cordless which seems to have less suction power than a corded vacuum.
Just my thoughts from past experience. One of the reasons we have leather upholstery as dogs seldom go on carpeted areas. We also have a hammock between the rear and front seat headrests to prevent hair and dirt from their paws getting everywhere. Seesm to work for us.

Excellent advice. People doing a valet services on a car use them and have good results. The brush is supposed to be better at collecting dog hair than any vacuum cleaner.

Yes the brush is excellent but may not meet BB’s need to access narrow gaps like the sides of seats. There’s no one thing does the lot is there?

We have gone for the Shark so I could use my Life style gift card that i got from my nephew it was my birthday this week and look on Argos website and paid online ,

It's always seemed to me that the choice of car mat materials is designed never to be the same as when you got the car new.
The material seems to grab hold of various types of dust, dirt, grass,crumbs etc that no amount of vacuuming with a strong household cleaner will completely get up.
The number of times I've methodically gone over the carpets, turned around and back and there are bits again.

We have a set of mini tools that we tape to the nozzle of the vacuum cleaner , ideal to reach down the side of seats etc, gave up on rechargeable cleaners and rely on Henry

I am aware the request was for a battery vacuum, but over the years I have never found any battery unit capable of getting even close to my old upright (mains) "Vac"
Purchased at a car boot sale for a fiver, it has an amazingly powerful motor compared to the newer stuff that owing to an EU ruling can only now have a relatively weedy motor of only 900w
My VAc is 2.2Kw !
