Has anyone had an issue with only one side mover only working , I have checked to see if there is voltage on both motor's which there is but only the r.h roller is working. Not sure if it's a mechanical issue with the l.h side, has anyone got a mechanical drawing of the unit

The only issue I come across is stuck brushes on the motor's commutator if this is the fault with the system off measuring across the motor terminals on the base unit will show high resistance compared with the good motor which will be about 0.1 ohms .Clouting the motor with a mallet (not a hammer) may release the brush. The brushes are accessed once the cover is removed and are held in plastic holders(see photo) , which you press and slide the cover off. You may find a 'lip' on the carbon brush or they may have simply worn away or just grim build up - clean the brushes and slides with small toothbrush -don't use grease when reassembling as they require good electrical contact with the slide. check for low resistance on the terminal spades and if OK you can test the motor by running it. New brushes are available online

Should you be able to turn the roller by hand even though you will be trying to turn against the force of the motor/box

Never tried but very doubtful due to the gearing ratio. But I have put mover onto tyres on a slope before unhitching with the handbrake off and the weight of the caravan has not moved . Also first time using the auto mover I had forgotten to press button to take rollers of tyre and even the car could move until I released them. So in this case I would say no to moving by hand ,as 190ps motor could not move

I am presuming it is an issue, despite whichever handset button you use, backwards forwards turn etc, to try and activate the "dead" motor?

On the control box take the mover cables off the working side and swap them onto the none working side,, & vice versa, if the none working side now works and the working side doesn’t then it’s the control box.
Also check the cable connections at the motor, these can deteriorate and give high resistance, a clean up or new terminals can sometimes fix this.
