Single wheel motor mover fitted from new.
Powrwheel version for single axle.
Was working until left for past 6 months.
Now remote does not move one unit, which is clear of the wheel.
Unable to get it to engage.
Used the T Bar socket to turn drive shaft, but no movement. Don't want to strain it or break nut end.

Well lubricated but still unable to shift it.
What's best way of getting it to work please?

Does the T-bar socket actually fully engage on the drive shaft nut or just sit on about the first mm or so and then slip? We had this problem with the T-bar when we tried to use it once, as the socket wall thickness was just too much to fully engage as it couldn't recess into the outer tube. The simple solution was to grind the outside of the socket wall in order to halve its thickness. Worked OK then. Our motor was engaged on the wheel at the time.

Is your unit still under the 5 year warranty?

After trying the winder tool, unsuccessfully, Pwrwheel tued out a service man, who came with new unit to fit. Found the electrical spade connectors to unit had corroded and failed. Replaced unit and all now as new.
But why it corroded electrics is unclear, as the terminals are housed in casing to protect from water, and van had only been used few times in past 2 yrs, and only wetted during rainfall.
POWERWHEEL firm OK by me, now !

Not a power wheel , but Power touch evoloution, the Hex shaft snapped. I could till engage the individuale movers on each wheel. , and within a week Powertouch sent out a mobile fitter, to change the shaft. Had to come from 60 plus miles as we are in Milton keynes. Still got two year Warranty on the mover, no questions very good service. Asked if we were on site, and neded emergency help. , sid no , "Could we wait" yes so very happy.

Curious thing but rain water will get in where tap water does not.

Some years ago a neighbour of ours kept finding water in the footwell of his Volvo after it had rained, even light rain, but no matter how much tap water he put on it it did not get in. The dealer would not believe him until he demonstrated it to them.
