I'm told we are going to provence this autumn, so have been looking at some sites. Favourite at the moment is Moustiers st. Marie where there seem to be several. Some, however are all singing and dancing and 20+euros/night.

Much prefer small quiet or CL type sites as we use all on-board facilities but there seem to be very few open after end September.

Not over fussy about area - prefer hills to beach - but like quiet. Any suggestions please ?

Hi

we stay in provence for aug (only 2 weeks to go)!!

Try to get a bit further inland for better prices, we stay at camping monplaiser in St Remy and we love it, but I know that in sept/oct the camp is very, very busy with lots of Dutch tourist (the older gereration.

there are lots of camp sites in the area and ours has a discount after sept.

Try the Bouches du Rhone webb site for some ideas.

Regards Maddy

Have a look around Vaison and the Dentelles. Easy distance to the delights of Mont Ventoux plus Gigondas, Vacqueras, Cairanne, Sablet and more.

Mmmmm, got a spare place?!!!

Just keep off the Rhone plain and avoid the heat and Mistral.

Bon voyage!
