Was in my local Lidl today and bought 500g mince, £5.49. I was gobsmacked at that price, granted it would have been dearer at the butchers. got me thinking, QUORN! Does anybody eat it? What does it taste like? All replies good or bad welcome.

My wife's vegetarian so I'm "flexitarian" and we eat Quorn from time to time - it tastes like whatever flavour is added to it but seems to work best as chicken - it's rather high in salt so not suitable for all diets.

We're both vegetarian and tried Quorn many years ago. As others have said it just takes on the flavour of whatever you cook it in. Didn't like the texture, never bothered again.

Tofu is another one like that. And no it's not a martial art.
