Rechargeable battery question

Not strictly caravan related although my computer mouse depends on them...............
What length of time should rechargeable AA 1.5 volt batteries be left on charge for?
I bought a small plug in charger which holds four AA rechargeable batteries but there are no instructions regarding charging times.

scarey or what

Parksy, it depends on whether your charger is a quick charger, or a slow charger.
If a quick type, then 3 to 6 hours
If a slow unit, 14 to 16 hours

Batteries should not be left in the charger for more than one day, and should be removed as soon as they are charged.
They are fully charged when warm to the touch

Thanks Damian, that'll be the slow version then because it was only a fiver from Bridgnorth Market
