has anyone got any recomendations for a cl for this comming weekend within about 25 miles radious of manchester. ive looked on 5 vans but the only ones are either too far or booked up and theres only 4 or so advertised.

not too bothered about facilities or electric as its only the weekend, but would like a nice field ie no cows or sheep sharing and some thing to look at and good walks for us and the dogs.
 
Not sure whether you can get in, but our two favorite CLs are Whitecroft Farm at Strines 01663 762778 and Spray House Farm at Little Hayfield, just under Kinder 01663 742670. Both have electric and no animals except for the free range hens at Strines, but you can buy the eggs!

Thanks ken, a friend of ours told me about whitecroft farm only this morning and i have managed to get on for this weekend which was lucky.

I will certainly try spray house farm too as its so close to the superb walking areas of the peaks.
