Recommendations French Sites

Hi can anyone recommend any quiet sites for 2 adults and a dog that accept twin axels? Areas to cover on the trip include, area around the Somme, Normandy, Dordogne, Languedoc, Provence. Thanks.

Can suggest Port de Limeuil for the Dordogne.

Also thumbs up for Port de Limeuil. Hautes De Ratebout near Belves is also very nice. A bit further south Moulin du Perie although their pool is not heated. Camping Mas de Reilhe north West of Nime is a very nice spot. Like all French campsites I would avoid July and August if you possibly can as these are very busy times.

Try Le puits normandy site run by a very nice Irish couple peter and francis,We spent 10 days there in 2008 with our dog peter even arranged the vets appointment with the local vet in the villege ready for our return journey. Try there reveiws

Thanks The Plotter, Tim and Chesirecat, will check out your recommendations. Going at start of September for 3 weeks, so hopefully should be a bit quieter, just hope sites are still open!
