Reich Vector Tap query

Advice please. We have a Lunar Eclipse 17/4 2017 which we bought in 2020.
We have the same Reich Vector tap in the kitchen and bathroom. On the first outing, following a cold winter, we had a problem with the tap in the bathroom. I stripped it down and replaced the 25mm cartridge 412 with a genuine part. It would only fit one way but, although it worked well, it was opposite to the open/close of the kitchen tap.
A year later, following another cold winter, we had a wet bathroom carpet and another failed cartridge (we now have the Floe drain down kit).
Having ordered another genuine part I took great care fitting it. Again it would only fit one way, and again it is the opposite to the kitchen tap.
It was mentioned on a recent service so I thought I would ask the experts.
Any ideas, or is it me?

I suggest replacing with an alternative tap

Across 3 caravans, I've had this model of tap replaced in each of them under warranty, in some cases more than once. If it's not the cartridge, its the seals in the body leaking or the spout blowing out.

Plastic garbage.

Thank you for the tip, and the video. I have been thinking the problem through, back to when we had the first cartridge problem. We didn't know that we could access the cartridge directly, so my son removed the tap from it's mounting in the bathroom, but left the pipes connected. It was a bit of a job and I think that we remounted the tap body 180 degrees from original. Then we refitted the tap lever, which would explain why Off became On.
We are on holiday in the Philippines, and between typhoons and cycling, I have been thinking it through. Sad I know.
Do you think it could be due to the tap body being back to front?

Yes , easy to assemble back to front, I have a stripped down vector S in my workshop which I use to test cartridges .
Re the spout blowing out , thats due to buildup of debris in the water supply . the cartridge and body failures are probably due to frost ( failure to drain down in winter).

Thank you for that. I have just spoken to my son and he is on standby to fix when we get back. Although it was 2 years ago he remembers that 'it was a pig of a job'.
