Remove revolving TV stand

Hi, we have a Swift Conqueror 630 which has a revolving stand within the TV cabinet. The TV we have is about 1cm too high to stand on the revolving stand. Does anyone know how to remove the stand. There dosnt appear to be any fixings visible.
 
We had one in our 2002 Eccles Onyx. The turntable is glued on and can be removed by levering it up and cutting the glue. Be aware that some of the 'wood' film may come away. Warming it up with a hairdryer may help.
