Replacement tap

Has anybody had to replace their whale tap in the kitchen area??

Mines been repaired all be it with a trusty tube of superglue. But idealy I need a new one.. My main concerns the connections electrical and water ones, having only seen the tap from above and briefly when I have to lug the sink out to replace my filter each season. Are they easy to replace yourself or is it a dealer job and are all connections universal?? ie do i have to stick with whale??

Any thoughts or advice would be greatly apprieciated..

Thank you.

Richard, the taps, if single pillartaps are held by one large nut underneath.

The water connections are usually push on fittings.

The electrical connection is only switching the positive, so it does not matter which terminal the wires go to.
