ride hight

can any one tell me minimum hight from floor of my tow ball when caravan on car. had no probs upto now with my c5, but have just got omega and car is on its ass

try checking your nose weight,(IN THE CAR HAND BOOK )your van needs to incline a`frame down but only slightly, if your nose weight is correct according to your cars handbook then there`s something wrong with the car

I tow with a Vauxkhall Omega and have the same problem, apparently the height of the towball when caravan is hitched should be between 350mm and 420mm. I have looked at all methods of altering the height of the towball but have decided against it, regs & insurance probs etc, am considering "spring assisters" hopefully to improve height when hitched, will let you know.

Lecky

Fitted the "spring assisters" worked just great, stopped the caravan pulling the back-end down, no difference without them, good investment.
