Does anybody know what happened to River Croe Caravan Club site? I know it closed as a club site but would like to know if it is still operating as a caravan site or if the land has been put to other uses.
Sad to say we have been on a few occasions to see the site becoming overgrown.iit is not being used as a caravan site.Seems that it was purchased by "Lochs & Glens Holidays" company ,but there has been a lot of wrangling going on with the planning department of the local council. What will eventually get put there is anyone's guess. It used to be our local site & we were gutted when the Club lost it.
Losing River Croe from the CC network was a sad loss, despite potential suspension damage from the access road. We liked it as a stopover on the way to the NW Highlands.
