Roof Awning Sagging

Can anyone out their help us, we last used our awning a few months back, we went out for the day but we had torrential rain, consequently roof sagging badly. It still sags now, we have bought extra poles, any suggestions is their a spray that we can buy to tighten it up again. or will in the summer time hot sunshine help to reform its shape.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi Liz,

It may just be lack of tension in the poles causing your problem. There is a gadget - whose name escapes me - obtainable from accessory shops, with which you can get real tension on the poles, more so than can be achieved by hand, so that the awning material is drum-tight.
