Roof box on Flush Roof Bars

Hi all,

Advice time, before I throw out a brand new set of Cruz aireo fuse roof bars that I just bought for my Mokka X, and replace with through bars.

Roof Box I’m looking at, sits on the plastic covers that cover the ends of the bars.

Anyone have any thoughts?

The box fits on the bars perfectly, it just sits over the plastic end caps a little

Roof boxes tend to be pretty flimsy/flexible items. I would fit tge box and see how it looks. You could always add a small packing piece under the mounting points rather than lashing out on a new set of (doubtless dxpensive) bars.

as long as the clamps do not crush the plastic beauty trims, I don't see any issue

Don"t put to much weight over the plastic covers and you should have no problem
