What is the traffic situation in and out of rouen after the bridge problem last year which caused more than a few problems. Many thanks
 
We've just travelled through Rouen the other week. On the way down, we got diverted along the other side of the river and had to join the A13 further up. On the way back, the detour took us on the A150 which was a massive detour but a really good road. It's about time they continued the A28 and bypassed Rouen altogether...
 
Last month I found a diversion that wasn't too painful. We went east-west across the north of Rouen on the E44 to Yvetot (which, usefully, had a good sized hypermarket!), then we took the D131/D490/D313 south until we rejoined the E402. I hope that helps!
 
Hi, we've just come back end of August last weekend , going was fine , 5 minutes along river and back on route but coming back was not so quick , what should of been a few minutes on bridge ended up being stuck over an hour in gridlock traffic , i wish id turned off onto the HGV divrsion so keep your eyes open for it if you get stuck in it cos HGVs are banned in area whilst bridge shut . I've heard it's not going to be opened tii October to .
