route to interlaken

can anyone recommend a route to interlaken from the tunnel with a two/three night stop each way ?which mountain passes are best ? thanks,Dave.

When we went to Switzerland last year we went down through France and over towards Colmar, entering Switzerland at Basle. Now some don't recommend this saying its better to go across the Rhine into Switzerland but we missed our turning! Have to say we found going through Basle OK. From Basle just follow the motorway which is remarkably level. We turn off just before Interlaken as we were heading for Frutigen.

We travelled same route as previous entry from David Klyne, via auto route. Stopped off at excellent site, Camping Les Breuils, at Verdun and again at a municipal at Selestat, both just off autoroute. Despite reservations by others about using this route we have never experienced problems. No mountain passes. The first time we entered via Basle there were roadworks which caused some delay through the border, but that could occur anywhere. We're going again in July to Lazy Rancho - excellent facilities and perfect area.
