Running Dometic Under counter Refrigerator.. Gas/Generator/Solar..

I suggest the OP goes on line and finds the handbook for the Fridge (the model number is usually found on a label inside the fridge low down on one side.) This should say exactly how much gas it uses. The important thing is to keep the fridge as full as possible, then it will use significantly less gas when the contents are frozen (or near that.)

From an electrical point of view, under counter fridges usually draw about 120W, tall fridges pull more in the range 160-180W. However on mains they are thermostatically controlled so the power draw may be much less than continuous.

Most fridge manufacturers will publish the typical energy usage over a period of 24 hours - its a guide and not specific but it does allow you to compare fridges. Ultimately it is highly dependant on how you use the fridge, and the ambient conditions.

Yes I've got the original handbooks from the 1st owner of the caravan and the fridge books and downloaded online handbooks/looked on line so much but still can't find a single thing that tells me the wattage! The only thing i could find is one of those AI generated things in the google search bar telling me the same info.. under counter fridge to be around 120W. I've got a new gas bottle and leaving the fridge on with that now so will see how quick it runs down. Thank you for the help x

The wattage is normally shown on the label in the fridge
You genius.. i looked in the fridge before and couldn't see anything.. after reading your post i though..better look again.. and low and behold.. upper top right behind the freezer pull down door is the label!! Thankyou!! doh!! problem solved. Id looked in the fridge manual.. the caravan manual..two different fridge manuals of slightly different fridges of the same brand online.. tried everything.. and there it was all along..haha!
