Saab 9-5 Estate

Does anyone have any observations on the newer model 9-5 estate. Seems very good value for money second hand, particularly in petrol form. I have a caravan with a max weight of 1300kg, and am not thinking in terms of the 2.0 petrol, the 'HOT' petrol or of a manual.

So I would be very grateful for any information on the 2.3 petrol or the 1.9TiD, with automatic transmission.

Thanks.

Jay cant help you with the 1.9 but i own the 95 estate 30tdi v6.Can honestly say the best tow car have ever owned, smooth, fast, and tows in a straight line. Towed through south of france this summer just gone and returned a average of 30.1 mpg, thats pulling a abbey vogue 417 weight 1440,and 4 in the car.As your van is light and the new 95 read up is good go for it. Or you could buy a mondeo estate good car and engine but go for ghia x the poorer models lack comfort.
