Can anyone tell me if when buying a second hand caravan from a dealer, if they have to supply you with a new gas check certificate.

I don’t think you will get a certificate but would expect a service sheet which should show gas test readings and also electrical test readings.

Also, ask if the rubber gas pipe to the gas cylinder in the front locker is legal - believe it or not, we bought a brand-new 2024 Swift and found out a year later on it being serviced, that it had been fitted with a 2019 rubber pipe on manufacture that was illegal!
