Liz I have never heard that all Welshmen are called Brian but I can assure that all Welshmen have a heart and you are on the verge of breaking mine. Incidently I was not moaning about the number of Colin's contributing to this forum, the point I was making is that I, as a Colin, am becoming confused as when I see the name I think did I post to that topic. It is known as old age - the brain does not function quite so quick since early retirement. I thought that as Cornish folk you would be supportive of the Welsh as Devon & Cornwall were at one time called South Wales and of the same Celtic race as us Welsh.

I do apologise to you Colin, no offence meant, its be a hard day today for me, we do have a lot of Welshmen come to stay here and so it happens they are nearly all Brian's. I must admit I do get on well with them.

P.s if I win the lottery tonight I am off to buy a 4x4. Also are you related to cris in anyway. I am only asking. I can hear you ok ok ok Regards Liz

From previous postings and your latest am I right in assuming that you run a caravan touring site in Cornwall? If this is correct where abouts is the site? Regarding the relationship with Cris the only connection that I know is the correspondance between us on this forum - some of it serious and some of it amusing banter. As far as your apology is concerned I will accept it in the sincere manner in which you delivered it. This forum should be all good clean friendly banter with the occassional serious topic thrown in to keep Lutz's brain fully active as he appears to be the technical guru. I wish I had his overall general knowledge as he appears to be well versed in virtually all topics. Imagine this site without him - what a bunch of wallies we would be.

Just looked under the heading "Overseas Parks & Touring" and what do I see? Two topics - one about internet connections in Europe and the other regarding TV reception in Europe. Gee it's enough to make one see the light and join either a monestry or convent whichever suits you the better. I must be in a minority of one on this issue.

That was a close shave Colin ;-)

Closest I ever came to being Welsh was my paternal grandfather from Hereford !

Would never want anyone to think I had a heart now would I :)

Yes you are quite right Colin I am Site Warden of a Caravan and Camping site here in Cornwall. So you see its like a busman's holiday for me, on this forum, some of my topics are based on how we run this site, we are open here all year round. Now I have forgotten what this topic was about. I had better have a glass of wine to chill out. Liz

Liz reading Cris's reply I would have thought that he is more likely to be related to that eminentLord B. as they both have Hereford connections. Mind you it could be a load of bull that ties them together. Now there is a thought to conjure upon - Cris and Lord B. as country yokels chewing a piece of hay each, leaning on a five bar gate and admiring a Hereford Black.

Ummmm Colin, what the hell is a Hereford Black?? If you mean Hereford cattle they have a mainly reddy brown coat, the same colour as the soil of our fair county, and white faces hence the reason Herefordians are known as white faced un's. ;O)

I rest my case Lord B. your farm animals do not know what colour they should be - Hereford Blacks are a breed of beef cows which are similar to the Welsh Black and produce excellent beef meet.

Back "on topic", we always take 2 laptops & 2 mobiles - but no telly.

As I have been retired for 10 years, the notion of a holiday "to get away from it all and unwind" is not really applicable.

We go away for a change of scene, visit friends, go to events, etc. etc.

The only real bind is being away from the net; most of our "distance" communication now takes place via e-mail nowadays, and hunting for net access everywhere is not convenient!

Hi Oldogey, perhaps this should be put forward to cc and ccc sites to install broadband, we have it here up and running for about 1 year, so anybody here can use their computers, laptops and logon for a small charge.
