sattelite tripod

Lee....I bought 1.5m steel rod, about the bore of a tent peg and cut this into three pieces. Filed down one end, bent the top over and fitted a plastic sleeve over the bent top. Then used each on on the tripod legs...hope this makes sense.

Picture attached? (if it works) that show them in use.

HI ,lee i use 3 hardstanding pegs and 2 rubber ladders from the awning ,put them over the tri pod coss bars .this has kept my tripod still in some strong winds.

I drilled a hole at an angle through the legs and put a awning peg through the hole and as these holes are all at an angle it does not require additional guy lines,so far had no problems.
