Why is it so depressing when your football team lose, anyone who has followed the mighty Wolves as long as me should be used to dissapointments, but it never gets any better.

if you think wolves are bad i had to sit through x factor what a load of s**t 3 girls against me sunday night and a re run off saturdays crap still if you go on a bender sturday it only me to blame.

I was born in Wolverhampton. Obviousy I don't live there anymore I moved away years ago. I still have siblings there though

But when I'm in earshot sometimes I hear results. Not a footy fan at all.

Tell me about it, lost again to yet another last minute goal

I no longer go to the Molineux but I was a regular at home games until two seasons ago and I first saw the Wanderers play when I went with my father in 1958.
You'd think that I'd be used to it now.

Bully's dad George lives in the street at the back of ours, I see him regularly and Steve pops into the local now and again even though it's an Alb*** pub. (couldn't bring myself to write it down

)
The night when we first went up to the premier league after the play off win against Sheffield Utd I met up with George Bull in the pub after we got back from Cardiff, the faces of the regulars was a picture

. We had a great time because we were the only ones making any noise in there.

As another Wolverhampton born member, but not a football fan, I have to say success follows money. A bit simplistic I know but in the 50's, 60's the Black Country was the powerhouse of Britain and the success of the team followed the economic success of the area. Unless someone from China or India buys Wolves as a hobby you can forget real success against the Man City and Chelsea types.
