Hopefully you have or are aout to strike a deal on the chosen caravan.
Don't forget you will need some basic equipment to make the caravan function.eg aquaroll waste master battery and so on.
Try and twist the seller's arm into including all the equipment foc.

A word of advice I try to give to all "newbies", if you don't mind.
Don't spend too much on your first outfit!!!!!!!!!!!
Always try to buy a caravan from someone who is giving up, ideally because of age or infirmity. That way you get all the (expensive) kit that you'll need included in the deal, as equipping a basic van can cost as much as the van itself.
The reason I give this advice is simple: What if you don't like caravanning?????????? It's amazing how much the caravan will go down in value immediately after you've bought it.

Wifey used to have an old 3.5 litre Rover which towed an old Sprite Alpine
She had many a happy couple of years Caravaning 🙂
Me I have spent a small amount of time in a few caravans .
I am no expert.... but I enjoyed it......I didn't hate it !!!
I have done a lot of time in Boats in which you can sleep and eat on or camp from.
I have camped by what I can carry on my back
or what I can carrry on a motorcycle
or from a car
So weights and loading are not new concepts.
Wifey is made up to get back into caravaning 🙂
Me I am just being practical about it , as a Biker I called them wobble boxes out on the road 😛
We want travel and explore, need a fridge for my insulin and a decent bed for wifey's back and a month or so in B&B's or Premier Inn's is just not possible :silly:
When you add it all up a Caravan fits Job 🙂
We have looked into it a lot
a Crossover 4x4 will suit all season trips and we like the Yeti ground clearance and it should manage an 88% ratio with the van we are looking at.
Solo the Yeti will Suit our needs
A Dealers Special based on the Sprite Major FB fits our needs
with a MTPLM 1350KG
without being so heavy we have to look at a heavy duty tug
which is not so good for us Solo
We plan to buy right the first time and keep the van for a very long time :woohoo:
Different splices for different ships 😉
My Biker Buddies think I am going to the Dark side 😗
But a little bird told me you meet some really nice people in the Caravan world
