Scotland here we come!

For the whole of September we are off on our East coast trip final destination Scotland via a number of two-three night English stop over sites starting with a nice 'n' gentle tow from Kent to nearish Peterborough. Just me the wife and Amber our six year old GSD.
May the caravan gods be smiling upon us. Lol!

Enjoy - how far up the East coast are you planning to go - Aberdeenshire tends to be ignored by most tourists.

Good luck and enjoy your travels. Scotland is vast! The scenery on the whole is breathtaking . We go most years. Are you doing the grand coastal tour or focussing on a few different places?

They don't grow pot holes with the same eagerness (no it's not related to Nessy) as here in Lancashire. At least from the lowlands to the Highlands upto Fort William,,😁.. safe journey 👍

Thanks DD. No our Scotland plan centers around visiting friends at Inverurie then we'll gradually do a loop back heading South stopping here and there. Only thing is we're not really stopping anywhere long enough to put our awning up so we'll miss the extra space.

We see more motorhomes in Scotland compared to caravans.

Good luck in the Highlands. Not a case of Whiskey Galore but Potholes Galore.

Please be courteous and considerate to other road users. Roads can be mostly single lane and it's annoying to be stuck behind someone going slow. There are usually plenty of passing places to let traffic behind go through.

Eastern Scotland has far fewer single track roads so not generally an issue there.
