scratches on paintwork

Hello Mary.

I too have had minor scratches on the van caused by tree branches etc,I wouldn't use T cut as this is to abrasive.

What I have used is a colour restorer.

You can get this from halfords or other car accessory shops but I got a bottle of wilko's own brand.

It cost

mix t cut with your car polish or wax 50/50 that takes the harshness out and dont leave a to clean patch on paint work .if you use just t cut you will see a clean patch on paint work.

DO NOT use T cut or you will possible have a shiny patch of alloy, the paint on a caravan is only microns thick and easy to damage.

Mary . the suggestions here are right T Cut is very abrasive on caravan paint work I would suggest if the scratches are not to bad try using Brasso or even Duraglit, they both remove scratches proving the depth of course

Good Luck

Sir Roger
