Sea view from pitch, Northern Ireland

We have been caravanning for three years now and my husband has always had this romantic ideal of having a sea view from our caravan window. But as yet we have never achieved it. Can anyone recommend a site in northern ireland (or not too far south)with guaranteed sea views?

hi emmy

if you are a c.club member, there is a lovely cl site in Downhill run by mr& mrs andrews. It sits right up on top of the hill above downhill with great views over portstewart and portrush. The other site to try is sandilands at cranfield kilkeel which is right on the shoreside of carlingford lough.

hi Emmy, stephen is right sandilands is a beautiful site, we go there for a week in summer it is very safe for young children, good playpark and lovely walks along beach. The pitches for the caravans are not on the shore line so am afraid you can't sit and look at the sea from your caravan but the site has its own private beach and only short distance from pitches. Other alternative is the original Cranfield site its right on the sea front, haven't managed to get booked there yet its always full. Good luck and happy caravaning.
