So fairly new to our seasonal and still learning the ropes. There is no club house or bar on our small site, But there is a ‘tea room’, that is self funding. Useful for socialising. I believe there are events held during the year but Saturday nights are Bingo night. We have just returned from our first one. Neither of us are normally into Bingo, but nothing ventured.

We had two £1.50 go’s at the raffle. Only won 1st prize! A nice leather purse containing £40

Then they had an extra Bingo game which I won, £74. So all in all, a very good night.

I imagine so. But I did apologise and all of them seemed to accept it, (to my face). After we won, I did another card. Part way through, I remember thinking I hope I don’t win in case I get lynched.

My brother in law has been single all his life, and was quite introverted and kept himself to himself. Yet when we moved him to a care home near us he really opened up, and now loves to play bingo, along with whist and lawn bowls too. Must be something in bingo that opens up the social horizon.
