Anyone know a good towbar supplier/fitter in Northwest area to supply and fit for my Kia Sedona? I'm in Widnes, Cheshire, but don't mind travelling for a good job at a decent price. Thanks in anticipation.
Thanks for that. The quotes I've had from 2 local towbar specialists are in the region ofMark, make sure who ever you use does not wire up the charge and fridge supply from the rear power outlet socket on your car if it has one, its a common short cut used by towbar fitters but the fridge will not work on 12 volt due to the voltage drop as the cable is too thin to supply enough power. both of my previous cars have been wired in this way and both have had to go back to the fitters one of whom wanted to charge me to put his work right. living in stockport the fitter i use is a bit too far for you.
Thanks Rob. I've already contacted Warrington Trailers, and also Towbars Direct on the A49 in Warrington. Both are quoting @Hi Mark,
Try Warrington Trailers on old Warrington Rd, Warrington. Simon who owns the place is more than conversant with the Kias as he fits them for the Kia main dealers in the area.He fitted my bar on the Sorento and a freinds new style Kia Sportarge with out any problems 12S to van work fine and the sockets provided in the rear for a cooler box are all oprative without any problems. I would recommend them no problem. They are just past PLP Vauxhall/Saab who are on the right coming from Wines, Simon is about 600yds on the left.

Hi Mark, I live in Runcorn and was able to find a supplier in Widnes, can't remember their name at the moment, but I'll try and find out later today.
They only supplied it, fitting was done by a local mechanic, but I think the cost of supply & fitting was about
I think I've just found the place that it was bought from, I think they were called Auto Accessories UK Limited in Foundry Lane.
They've got a website, but its down for maintenance at the minute.
