September Walking/cycling St. Etienne/ Rodez area.

Please help with any tips/sites in the above general area. Tend to use Camping Cheque sites as it does not involve too much pre planning. Not too keen on crowds.

Haven't stayed on any sites in that side of the Aveyron - but have been to Rodez in December on a 1p Ryanair flight - do visit Sauveterre la Rouerge whilst in the area - it's lovely - check out the toilets near the 'Mairie' for a mediaeval experience (modern toilets, I mean, but in the most stunning building). It's very rolling countryside there, lovely for cycling, - and there are several Camping Cheque sites, but we tend to stick with the other side of the Aveyron, down around the Millau, Gorges du Tarn area sorry.
