Sewing accessories for the van

I have been asked to teach a sewing related "Revamp your Caravan" one day course. I shall be looking at curtains, cushion covers, removable seat covers, outdoor cushions, windbreaks, but what else could be done? I guess I could make bunting but I'd prefer useful rather than decorative! Years ago when I caravanned with my parents I remember Mum wrapping anything breakable or that would rattle about in towels before packing into boxes for the journey. I'm guessing modern vans have that sort of storage covered now. I'd have a van of my own but that's still at the dreaming stage! Any suggestions anyone?

Hi wish I could sew. How about a thing that you can hang in the wardrobe, with pockets in it to store shoes or smaller items.

My wifes sewing has produced a pad protector for the top of the doorway, we're both tall and with less hair than my good lady I managed to cut my head open on the doorway surround on every outing in the past. Just held in place with two strips of self adhesive velcro.
She's replaced manufactureres useless buckles on gas bottle securing straps with quick release buckles. We still have an old cover that zips around a spare wheel. it has a foam pad on inside on one side and doubled up as an awning seat for the kids or dogs in the past when the spare wheel travelled inside.
She's also made a few tow hitch covers, padded bags for satellite dishes, flat screen tv's and solar panels as she makes travel bags for water sports equipment for our friends.

Many caravans with fixed beds have a sort of angle cut off toward the bottom end to allow wardrobe access. How about adapting normal bedding so that it looks made to measure.
The made to measure bedding is readily available to buy but it's expensive. Some caravanners use tablecloths for their awning table, matching tablecloths and awning curtains would be another idea.

Sheets for fixed beds, good idea! Why didn't I think of that one? Useful info Gybe, I've done odd things like that before thank you.
