Hi has anyone had the experience of replacing the front shelf in a Bailey Caravan? If so how difficult was the process? Regards

It can be done but not easy. Needs removal of chest of drawers, plastic edging , lower curtain rail. Then remove whatever fastenings you can see . Some may need cutting . Look inside the gas locker , you can see it and any other hidden fixings.
Frankly, I’d buy a new panel from Prima Leisure and simply over lay it with adhesive or hidden screws under the edging and curtain rail. Or make up your own panel.

Thank you it was in my mind to do that so might get a thin upvc facia board.

Laminate flooring is fairly thin / light weight / hard wearing. Would give you lots of colour and pattern options

The front shelf on our Senator looked a bit worse for wear, all I did was re cover it with fablon, really easy to do just remove bottom curtain rail.

Just be aware that some front shelves are actually slighty recessed into the sidewalls, which makes replacement, shall we say, taxing?
ok ill go for the upvc facia on top coz knowing my luck ill just make it worse or do more damage,thanks for replying
