Should the seat be used?

I think a compensation lawyer would have a field day with that if someone got hit. Its the clubs responsibility to prevent injury ( high netting as they do on football and rugby pitches near roads) not to warn about rubbish players!. Personally I wouldn't sit on it.
 
Common sense should prevail, use your brain. On St. Andrews old course one of the fairways is right next to a public road and a row of houses.
 
If golf balls have the ability to fly then perhaps fairways should be renamed runways,as luck has I can't play golf or in fact darts.the one time I played darts the general consensus of opinion was to the safest place was in front of the board as it was the one thing I constantly missed 😁
