Single or twin electrics? New to all this.

Hi, Could anyone explain the pros and cons of single and twin electrics.

After camping for several years we are going to buy a secondhand caravan and need to have a towbar etc fitted to our R reg Rover 1600cc. We are not sure what electrics to ask for.

Also we use an electric hook up when camping, what will we have to purchase to hook the caravan up to the sites supply?

Thank you in advance

Kind regards

Mary

If you're having the towbar and electrics fitted anyway I'd go for twin electrics so that your fridge will remain cool after you've got it down to temperature by using mains electricity at home. Your battery will be charging while you tow if it is needed as well.

To hook up to a sites 240v supply you will need a mains hook up lead which can be bought from any caravan accessory shop.

Thank you for you advice. I will have twin electrics fitted.
