Site advice

Any comments greatly appreciated on Haughton caravan park, Alford and Aden caravan park, Mintlaw, both Aberdeenshire. We are going north in July and hoping to stay a few nights at Banff Links then one of these sites before going on to Silverbank CC site at Banchory.

Hi William, Have not stayed on the Aden site, but a few years ago we stayed on a site at Turiff, which was in the same group as Aden. The Turiff site was well kept, clean and tidy. The snag with it was that it backed onto the main road, which got noisy around 04.00 with tractors and combine harvesters on the move. Banff links should be OK, and there is another site along that coast at Portsoy which is adjacent to the beach. From memory there is a country park adjacent to the Aden site at Mintlaw. Do enjoy!!

We stayed at the Aden site 4 years ago in March. It was lovely even then in fowl weather and we would definately stay there again. We also stayed at Silverbank in the autumn last year which was very nice.
