This must sound like a stupid question, but the wife and I are unsure after a 15yr break from caravanning.

When a site states fees of, say £11:00. Is that per person or is that per unit?

Told it was a daft question!

Peter, it is not a daft question at all, and the answer is ,,,,,it depends on the terms and conditions of the site.

It may wel be per unit, very unlikely to be per person, but what exactly constitutes a unit depends on the way the site have organised their tarriff.

That's great advice from Ken. Make clear the size of your party, whether you want an awning, hook-up and what have you, and ask what the total cost of the stay will be before you confirm the booking. That will avoid the nasty shock at the end of your break...
