Site good for cycling

Hi all, I'm new to the forum and in need of some help.
We are looking at booking a week away and would like
to find a site that's good for cycling with the kid's, something
like the Caravan Club site's at Clumber Park or Ferry Meadows.
Any reccomendations would be great.

Karen - welcome to our site - if you were more specific in stating which part of the country you are and how far you are willing to travel then possibly help and advice would come your way. Should you wish to visit South Wales then the Caravan Club site at Pembrey near Llanelli is brilliant for safe cycling. Not only the country park but there is also the new coastal cycle path stretching for approx. 8 miles past Llanelli and Bury Port.

Thanks for your suggestions. We are in West Yorkshire and can travel 3 hours or approx. 150 miles. Cycling needs to be off road and flat as kids are only young. Anyone been to Wirral Country Park CC site recently? Do you know what beach is like? We are looking at Pembrey for next year when kids can travel further without asking ' Are we nearly there yet?'.

Pembrey is great but about 6/7 hours from West Yorkshire. There's Bay View at Bolton le Sands from where you can cycle on the flat on the foreshore or on the canal bank or go into Morecambe where the promenade is brilliant for cycling (got to watch for the mobility scooters though!!!!) and, it's only about 1.5 hour travel.
