Site in Cheshire/Shropshire with Fishing

I am looking for a site for touring caravans in the Cheshire/Shropshire area with good fishing in Lakes not rivers (thats for me). For the wife it must be 4 or 5 star with excellent facilities (toilets n showers)

Your help will be much appreciated.

Hi Taff

I would highly recommend Manor Wood Country Caravan Park as it fits your requirements perfectly. Excellent toilets and showers, although not many of them, and TWO fishing lakes. Lots of facilities for a UK site including outdoor swimming pool, tennis courts and games room. It's located in lovely countryside with fantastic views to the Welsh hills.

You can see my and lots of other positive reviews here, I'm number 28, the first one, here.

Angela an Nigel Dutton the resident owners are lovely people and nothing is too much trouble. We first stayed there when they just had a storage area and a CC CL site behind their house. We kept our 'van in their storage andused to go and spend shortbreaks on the adjacent CL whenever possible. Only stopped going after we had our drive altered so that we could keep the 'van at home.

The only downside is that the site is rather expensive but you can use the cheaper CL if you want a cheaper holiday.

Regards

Tim

Thanks Big Tim I will give it a try.

CHESHIRECAT

Thank you for some very good advice but Id rather keep the wife. She's a first class looker, cooker and '

I have been to Beaconsfield. Excellent site with music in the lavs but the fishing was a bit disappointing. They should have the coarse fishing near the caravans and not the lake by the lodges.
