Hi Tony,

If you mean the port of Ouistreham, then there is an OK municipal campsite "Les Pommiers" at the edge of the town.

About half of the site has local caravans on long term pitches, but the area closest to the access road is "reserved" for ferry travelers.

About 10 other UK vans over-nighted with us for the morning ferry, and these pitches are long grass strips that let you leave the car hooked up.

About a 10 - 15 minute walk into the town centre, with several restaurants.

Last year there were fitting a new perimeter fence and making other improvements, and no problem leaving for the ferry.

Robert
