Site recommendation near to Orleans

Hi everyone.

This year we are doing a different route from Calais to El Delfin Verde in Spain. We usually stay in or around Macon.

This August we are going via Orleans and going over the bridge at Milau.

Can anyone suggest or recommend a site, preferably Municipal, near to Orleans.

Did your run last year, we stayed just south of Orleans at Salbris.There is a god site by a small lake in the town. Leave the A71 junction 4 go south round the town till you get to the N20 then north through the town over the river and right at the next traffic lights about 400 yards take a right small street to site.our next stop was just south of Clermont Ferrand,Chateau La Grange Fort, Les Pradeaux, not fare from the motorway, they take Camping Che ques
