Site with fully serviced pitches upto 40 miles/1 hour from Wigan

Looking for any sites that people can recommend that are up to 40 miles/1 hour from Wigan. I am looking at setting up my parents in my van for a short break (after a period of ill health)and wish to make it as simple as possible for them so they can just go away and relax.

Any suggestions/recommendations greatly appreciated.

We love holgates just near silverdale. It is about an hour/ hour and half away. Everything you need on a site and spotless. However it is set in the hillside so not to sure if your parents can cope with hills. If they can its a lovely site.

there is a site near lythan st annes called eastham hall.the site is fairly flat and very quiet but is a bit outside of lytham.the showers and toilets are very clean and i would recomend the site if you want peace and quiet
