Have just come back from a wonderful 3 weeks in the South of France. Would like to try Spain next year around Roses or Estartit. Anyone got any good sites. It must be suitable for teenagers but not too rowdy. A good swimming pools with slides and outdoor entertainment. thanks in advance, Helen

On the coast road between Sant Pere Pescador and Escale there are four sites - all of which are ajoining the beach. Look at http://www.ballena-alegre.es or http://www.campingamfora.com or http://www.6tems.com/cdunas

Have just returned from having 2 weeks in the south of France and 10 days in Spain. We stayed at El Delfin Verde at Torrella Montgri. Can strongly recommend it for teenagers as we had 2 with us. Lots to do on the site and also the surrounding area, including the ones you mentioned whic are only a short distance away. Many people go back there every year. The site has also clamped down on teenage drinking and rowdyness and is much better, calmer and safer now. Also, prices are so much cheaper and in many cases half the cost of the south of France ( beer, coke, food are all literally half the price we paid in France). Petrol was 0.85 euros a litre. Spirits cost a third of the asking price of France. Meals out are about 20% cheaper but the presentation and quality are not the same. Another plus for this site is you pay when you leave.. handy in that you only pay for the number of days you have stayed on site. GARY

El Delfin Verve (The Green Dolfin) will suit your needs in all areas exept pool slides but there is a large water park nearby which has free travel included in the price for the water park.

Try Las Dunas. pools, bars, entertainment, direct access to beach, 'noise police' late at night and much more. You can't go wrong.
Las Dunas sounds lovely. Is there a town or village where you can walk during the evening. What were the service pitches like. I would be very interested to hear your views. thanks in advance, Helen

Hi Helen,

Visit their website www.campinglasdunas.com. I would suggest you make up your mind quickly. They open their booking system for next year on 1st October. It's so popular if you are not quick you could be disappointed. Closest towns are L'Escala oor St Pere Pescador but both a drive away. The site is large but does not appear so. Nothing ever gets cramped. I've used the service pitches for the past two years and found them excellent, about 100 sq m, flat, hedges, just what I was looking for. You can only book with the site and they do not accept credit cards. You'll love it. We're not going back next year but only because its time to look at somewhere else but I will return in the future.
